SPRING 2010 EMERGENCY FOOD DRIVE FOR C.O.T.S. KITCHEN. Please help feed hungry seniors and the homeless by donating food to our Emergency Food Drive which begins Monday, April 19, 2010. Please click on PROJECTS for a detailed list of items that are desperately needed. All donations can be dropped off at the SVHS Front Office and we deliver them to the C.O.T.S. Kitchen. Thank you! THANK YOU . . . * Jim and Tammy Selvitella of BEYOND THE GLORY Restaurant and Steve & Deborah Bianchini of BIANCHINI'S SANDWICH & SALAD MARKET for sponsoring two Community Concerns Club lunchtime fundraisers to benefit Doctor's Without Borders relief efforts in Haiti. More than $200 was raised and 100% of the proceeds will be used to purchase medical supplies for victims of the Haiti earthquake. Special thanks also go to the students and parents who attended these events! * To all of the SVHS students and staff who supported our annual ST. PATRICK'S DAY BAKE SALE. $200 will be donated to the DrawBridge Art Program for homeless children and to Homeward Bound Homeless Services. * To those who supported our Friday Hot Chocolate Sales and our Hot Soup in a Bread Bowl lunch. We raised more than $400 and used these funds to purchase cases of brand new blankets for the shelters.
